Organic black tea with vanilla
20 Sachets of 2,5g

We now source our organic black tea from Colombia. Its familiar vanilla flavor is ideally complemented by a light touch of cocoa beans.

Select black tea from Colombia forms the full-bodied, aromatic basis of this unusually rich and varied blend. The incomparably well-rounded bouquet of top-quality Bourbon vanilla provides a wonderful balance to the character of the black tea from South America without overpowering it. A blend that consummately balances vigor and strength with more gentle, delicate notes.

Organic black tea from Sri Lanka
20 Sachets of 2,5g

An exclusive flavor full of the traditions of Sri Lanka. Invigorating, round and strong-flavored, it will win over even connoisseurs used to nothing but the best.

Ceylon tea refers to a variety grown in Sri Lanka, which was formerly known as Ceylon. Ceylon teas are rich and relatively unaffected by hard water. They are valued highly for English blends and are usually taken with a little milk.

The three big tea-growing areas in Sri Lanka are Uva, Dimbula and Nuwara Eliya. The best-quality tea comes from the steep slopes at 1200 meters where there is enough air humidity and rain as well as the well-drained soil the plants thrive on. Our Ceylon Sunrise is organically grown and is of the highest quality.

Organic Earl Grey
20 Sachets of 2,5g

The aristocrat of black teas has a delightful hint of citrus freshness, which it owes to the organically grown bergamot orange.

Earl Grey is a blend that was originally composed exclusively of Chinese tea varieties and lightly flavored with the delicate, bitter-scented oil of the bergamot.

The tea was named for Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey (1764–1845). In 1833, as prime minister of Britain, he ended the East India Company's monopoly on tea exports from China. The tea was not invented by Earl Grey himself, however. Legend has it that during the passage from China to England a storm threw the ship's cargo all over the hold, causing bergamot oil to spill over the bales of tea. When the ship docked in London, Lord Grey inspected the damage and chose to sample the tea before deciding whether the load should be destroyed. The tea proved so popular among his friends and acquaintances that the Earl thought it a better idea to place the "flavored" tea on the market.

Nowadays, Earl Grey tea is not blended only from Chinese varieties but also includes Indian varieties. It is an excellent accompaniment to salty dishes and light snacks.

Organic Assam from India
20 Sachets of 2,5g

The Golden Assam comes to us from the banks of the Brahmaputra river, the biggest tea-growing region in the world. During the second major crop in summer, the so-called «2nd flush», the top qualities are harvested. Only during a few days the tea gets the perfect balance of the attractive golden tips and a strong malty flavor.

We are pleased to offer such a top tea in perfect organic quality. This classic tea brings together all the best features of a strong-flavored Assam tea and has a refined, malty note.

A lively yet well-balanced blend of strong-flavored black tea, the zesty freshness of lemon and the juicy sweetness of sun-ripened oranges. A full, intense flavor and a scent rich in nuances. Organic Darjeeling
20 Sachets of 2,5g

Picked in traditional tea gardens on the southern slopes of the Himalayas. A Darjeeling with a characteristically mellow spiciness.

Darjeeling is one of the best-known varieties of tea. The region around the Indian city of Darjeeling is the center of Bengal tea growing, and was also the starting point of a caravan route to Tibet. Today, it is known primarily for the teas of the same name, which are mostly of very high quality.

Instead of the customary Darjeelings we only use the highest-grade tea for our Purple Breeze: SFTGFOP1, which stands for Special Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe.

Organic white tea with the fragrance of jasmine
20 Sachets of 2g

Due to its superior quality, white tea used to be a privilege reserved for the Emperor and the nobility. A mild bouquet and a unique jasmine fragrance: majestic indeed.

White tea owes its name to the white silky down that enshrouds the young tea buds. The tea is only fermented up to two percent, and this occurs naturally during the process of wilting. The highest quality "yin zhen" (silver needle) variety is one of the most sought-after white teas, and therefore one of the most expensive. Only the very young and aromatic shoots of the white tea plant are picked for it. Harvesting only takes place on two or three days in the year, when the weather conditions are exactly right. There must be no rain or wind as this would damage the delicate tea. Then, after a few weeks, when the jasmine blossom comes out, it is carefully hand-mixed with the tea to add its aroma. A few days later, the flowers are painstakingly picked out of the blend, leaving their magnificently flowery jasmine fragrance behind.

White Silver Needle is in itself a highly sought-after tea – and all the rarer when organically grown. We consider ourselves fortunate to have such long-standing relationships with our partners in China, allowing us to be able to offer this rarity.

Organic oolong tea
20 Sachets of 2,5g

The tea gardens devoted to our Zealong are located on the North Island of New Zealand in the Waikato region. The delicate tea leaves of this high-quality oolong tea have been grown there since 1997. From the very beginning, the principles of organic farming have been rigorously observed.

Through a complex process, the tea leaves are tightly rolled into pearl-like spheres which will unfold in hot water to almost their original size. During infusion, the tea develops a deep amber to a slightly copper color. On the nose, there are aromas of dark chocolate and toasted bread. Delicate fruit notes rejoice on the palate followed by a long, velvety sweet aftertaste.

Organic green tea from Japan
20 sachets of 2,0g

Our noble Genmaicha comes from the Shizuoka Prefecture on the Honshū main island. This region is known as the center of the Japanese tea trade. Unique soil conditions, coupled with mild climate, distinguish this region and help promote abundant tea growth.

Our Genmaicha features a particularly high-quality small-leaf green tea in contrast to the simpler, large-leaf Bancha tea customarily used for Genmaicha. The natural rice is very carefully roasted to prevent individual kernels from splitting open. This care is readily apparent in the cup – through the bright emerald color of the tea and its highly aromatic notes. On the palate, the contrasting aromas of fresh green tea and the sweet, nutty notes of the roasted rice elegantly unite in a harmonious combination.
